Graphical behavior

Hi

I have an example here of 2 furnishings. On one side the instance is under the plan section, on the other the instance is above plan section. The problem here is the lineweight. the thickness of the wall is affected by the element.

how to make sure that the thickness of the lines of the partition remain intact?

Turn off the family 3d element or masking region and use symbolic lines for plan presentation.

Hi,

If you don't like to change the family, you could try this method for quickly overriding the line of the wall:

- Use Linework (LW) and choose a linestyle with same thickness) but it's view dependant.

Several ways:

- Override the category to 100% transparent

- Add a symbolic line (or a masking region boundary line) under a subcategory in the family and match the subcategory line weight with the wall cut line weight in the project

- Place the family slightly away from the wall
