graphic of the door swing which is out of view range shows

hi, everyone

I have a problem.now Im working on a project .and I need to draw a ceiling plan view.

now the view range is as the picture show.the top of the view range and top clip  are both  2FL+0.and the bottom of the door of the 2FL is 2FL+0. the swing is not supposed to show .but it shows.

and then I set the bottom of the door as 2FL+1,still show. and then 2FL+2, not show. which I think is really weird.

If i set the bottom the door is 2FL+1,which is completely out of the view range. why still shows?

want to know the reason .I just uploaded the door family,hope someone could help me to figure out this question.Thank you!

Reflected ceiling plan view range goes upwards.

what do u mean by goes upwards?the door of this type shows,but the other types of door dont show.so I think maybe something is wrong with this family?or the bug of revit?

edit: if you think that's not the issue, could you share a section maybe with level heights to have a look and the other door type which doesn't show?

hi!thank you for your reply.but the thing is ,we created this line not just need it show when it is cut,we want it show also as hidden lines by view.and my question is,my main view,top, cut plane, view range,no matter what.this subject is all out of these ranges. why still show.I mean, even if it is not cut ,but in these view range ,show as hidden lines, I can understand.but now, it is completely out of range.that is weird.

Apparently, some model geometry in the Family is being intersected by the Project View Range.  Do you a maybe have a Model Line protruding above or below the Door in Section/Elevation View?

thank you for your answer,so u mean,it may be a bug for revit.I need the cut plane and view depth are the same,I dont want things under this line show(FL+1500).but even if this is a bug,all the doors should show in the same way.as I mentioned before,some doors show.some dont.I uploaded some pics and family of the other door which doesnt show.please have a look at it.My RCP is 1FL.and the doors belong to2FL,level are both 2FL+0.but one show in RCP,one doesnt.Im sorry I cant share the whole project to you because of the secret policy.but if you can kindly create a new project  and load these two door families in the project ,of course set the view range the same as mine. you probably can see the problem.the last pic is 2FL RCP.because I want to show you they are truely belong to 2FL

at first I thought the same, but I check the family carefully ,I dont think I have any model line or geometry is under the view.

Are you saying the entire door is outside of the view range, or just those lines?

no,sir. as I said ,under my circumstance,the setting of my RCP. the hidden lines are not supposed to show. because  the whole door object (geometry and model lines inside it) is out of view range. the example you created is the the same as mine.

Exactly. Cut Planes are different. Isn't this what you are talking about? The visibility of the Swing Detail Linework? I thought you were saying that it is always visible in the view, no matter what the Cut Plane elevation is set to.  Please provide some clarification.

please see the pictures of detail I uploaded(as the reply to others).My RCP view,top2FL+0(1FL+3000), cut plane 1FL+1500, bottom(1FL+1500),view depth2FL+0.because I dont need things under 1FL+1500 show. and the bottom of those doors are 2FL+0.but as I mentioned,some types of doors show hidden line, some dont. Even if I set the bottom of the doors which are showing, 2FL+1.still show. weird,completely out of any view range.no matter,top,cut,bottom or view depth

Is this about the linework representation in the View.  That's controlled by the Object Style Subcategory Settings. 

For instance, the Swing Line in this Family is assigned this Subcategory's Projection Line Settings:

no,Elements display in the plan view using the cut line , the projection line.these lines are set right as projection line.but are supposed to show when the door is within view range,obviously, now the door still show even it is out of My RCP setting.Please set the bottom of the door as 2FL+0,or 2FL+1.2FL+0 is equal to the top my RCP,and 2FL+1 is completely out of my RCP setting,still show.
