Getting error 'Can't make change to group [...]' for a group that doesn't exist

This error appears when I try to duplicate a floor plan with option Duplicate with Detailing. The error says that the 'Beschriftung' group is the problem. It doesn't give the group's element ID (see attached error report).

I have gone through all the model groups and detail groups of the project both manually and using Dynamo, and a group with the name 'Beschriftung' simply does not exist. I have purged & audited and it still shows the same error.

When I duplicate the same floor plan using only the 'Duplicate' option, this error doesn't appear.

I think it has something to do with a conflict between Duplicate with Detailing and Attached Detail Groups. I found a previous thread on this but it was never solved.

Is this definitely a bug or am I missing something here?!

Thank you!

It's possible that the group resides in a family in the model.  You can try and export the families (right click on Families in the browser) and Revit exports these to a folder that you define.  If there is an error with a family then Revit stops and asks what you would like to do.  You nay be able to determine if it is an error in the family.

Is it possible to share the file so we could look into it?

Cheers, K

Thank you, I think it was a good suggestion! However, while exporting all families (310 in total) only a couple of them showed warnings but none of them involved this group

It also works for me, for the other floors. There's only one floor which shows this error... I guess it's a very specific situation. I cannot send the original file, unfortunately. Thank you for your effort though
