Get quantities per building in a multiple building model

Hi, I have a model with 2 buildings and I need to get quantities per floor for building 1. However, when I sort by floor I can't find a way to just get quantities for the first building. I am trying to get the wall material takeoff for a floor of the first building.

I would say it is always better to have linked files if you model multiple and separate buildings.

You need something to identify that it belongs to building A or B, are there differences between them?

For example, phasing? If so you could use that. Or maybe you want to use the comments/description of elements to identify.

Otherwise you could make a shared parameter to identify the different buildings.

How did you Sort by Floor?  Sounds like you need some Filtering rules as well as Sorting/Grouping rules.

Give elements of each building an unique ID via a parameter (such as Comments) then use it to filter/group your schedules.
