get Properties of an injstance

Hi,

I would like to draw a wall. I have an existing one. I want to get the properties of the existing wall by some tool like pippet or something similar to that (linke in Photoshop) an then draw the wall with the properties of the existing wall.

What I don't want to is to draw the wall first an then assign the properties of the existing wall to it.

Does anybody have any idea?

Thanks.

Select the wall you already have drawn, right click and then select "create similar"

Or, If the second wall is already drawn then you can use the match properties tool.

In general I tend to select the wall tool, then set some properties, if needed, and draw several walls one after another.

Or in some cases I draw walls, then select them all and set certain properties for all the selected walls.
