Generic Model.rft vs Generic Model Adaptive.rft

what is the difference between Generic Model.rft and Generic Model Adaptive.rft in revit family?

I know what the Generic Model Adaptive will allow you to do that the Generic Model won't, but fundamentally there is no difference.

Generic Adaptive working environment is similar to that of Conceptual Mass, allowing Adaptive points, dividing paths and surfaces.  Aside from the category, it is entirely different from Generic family from the modeling method standpoint.
