Generic Model Host

I have a generic model panel that is hosted by a curtain wall. Somehow, however, the panel and the curtain wall are not showing the same floor level in some cases (see images). I don't seem to be able to change the floor level for the generic model piece, so I'm kind of stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Edit: Oh nevermind. I misread your question.  You asked about curtain panels, not generic model.  Will look again.

I don't see Level when I select a face based generic model, but Schedule Level.  And that can be changed.

Well it is a generic model, but it is hosted by a curtain wall( I am consulting on this file and I wasn't around when it was modeled, so I'm not sure exactly what the process was. I will take a look at it based on your info though.
