Generic Glass Material

Hi,

I'm trying to recreate the Autodesk Glazing Material using Revit's Generic Material. The problem is that the Glazing Material has few options and many of the properties are hidden and unchangeable. I am trying to reproduce it with a Generic Material so that I can tweak it. The preview shows that the materials are very different despite the similar characteristics. I am wondering if this is because the Glazing material uses a different shader or if I am using the wrong properties?

Here are both materials. How can I get Glass-Generic to look more like Glass-Autodesk? I'm especially concerned with the transparency.

I'm 95% sure Glossiness is causing this problem. Try setting Glossiness to 100. I would also set the Transparency to 95 or even 100.

Up the translucency number to get more of your color to show.

I hope that works!

Unfortunately, that did not work, the Autodesk glass it a lot more transparent than the Generic glass.

Well, shoot. You can always just replace the asset of the glass you don't like with a duplicate of the one you do like.
