Hi guys,
Question to the experts and curios minds:
Is it possible to create a 3D model automatically using 2D Technical drawings such as below:

How we can improve the time it takes to create a geometry in Revit? How can we automate geometry modeling?

Any and all ideas will be really appreciated. Thank you 🙂

This object does not look like it is suited for Revit.  You may want to look into Inventor or Fusion 360.  An industrial design software would be much better for this type of item.  Having said that, there are not too many shortcuts that I am aware going from a 2d to 3d drawing.  There may be 3rd party software out there but someone experienced in Inventor, or alike, would make short work of something like this.

Regards Peter.

Are they CAD Technical Drawings?  Create a Cube with an Extrusion in a Family.  Now you have 6 faces.  Go to Front/Back Elevation View and insert the Front/Back CAD Technical Drawing by Current View Only.  Go to Go to Right/Left Elevation View and insert the Right/Left CAD Technical Drawing by Current View Only.  Go to Top View and insert the Top CAD Technical Drawing by Current View Only.  Load/place Cube into Project.  Done.
