gbxml and family in projekt

Hi Forum,

I have a problem to export all components with gbxml.

In this case I try to get a window in a roof. The roof is build as a family in the projekt because of the complexity.

As you can see in the gmxml-export settings there is no window. Its also the same with walls ...

There is also no solution if I build a window also as projectfamily.

Has anybody an idea to solve the problem?

Thanks

Lena

I'm a little lost here. What are you using for Roofs and Windows?  Is that one of the Revit Skylight Families?

...here; maybe these pointers will help you:

Hi,

it's the same if you take a Revit window family or from manufacturer. Let me show you in detail what I mean:

Here at first a picture form gbxml exporter:

The structure above I've build with the ordinary roof command and than a simply skylight. As you can see in the room "206 Technik" there is a window (here "Oberlichter"). Ok, that goes.

The other structure I've build like this (It's in german, 😉 😞

1) caecberlin_1-1628930483573.png   >   2) caecberlin_2-1628930538231.png

But in this way it doesn't go. In the room "205 Technik" there is no window under the roof (here "Dächer").

Are you saying that your Skylight is an In-Place Model?  Why don't you model it as a loadable Family?  You know, Revit has Skylight Families in the OOTB Content Library (Windows Folder). You could easily modify one of those to use in your Project.

...Or are you saying the Roof is Modeled In-Place and the Skylight is a Loadable Family?  Try using a Roof By Extrusion instead.

Why don't you model the roof using Roof by extrusion?
