I have furniture placed on my second floor that is showing up in the furniture schedule as on the first floor. I believe the issue is with the furniture itself because this is only happening with the items selected from one manufacturer. In the photo you can see there is a chair placed in the dining room on the second level but the schedule has it under the first level. I have looked at sections and the rooms aren't penetrating into other floors. I've tried to look at the furniture model and it wont allow me to edit anything. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Your furniture is an adaptive and it will go haywire depending on which level you place it at. If you choose face, it will just adapt to that surface but you are the mercy of whatever level it is set to. I usually use Place on workplane so it will read the level in the schedule properly.
I can get you there in a round-about way if you are interested.
1, Export Geometry to DWG.
2. Open DWG and place the seat and frame geometries onto Layers, and then Save the DWG.
3. Import DWG into Revit Family Template. Save the Family.
4. Insert the Family to Revit and place on Levels.
The Graphic and Appearance Properties can be changed via the Imported Categories Tab.
When I placed an object, it should give you which placement you want to placed in. This is should help you set which level you want your furniture to be at. If all else failed, try Brad's method.
Interesting. I cannot get the OP's Family to report the Level it is placed on (always indicates Level 1) - but if I activate the Room Calculation Point in the Family, I can report the Room/Level.
