Hello,

I am currently trying to tag the beams of the first building that I modelled in revit 2018. I would like to know if someone know if I can tag my beams in way that the tag has their name, for exemple: BEAM Nº25  with a section 70x40. The tag name that I want to appear is the following: B25 70x40 in which B25 is over the beam and the section geometry is under the beam, like this picture that I have ( I drew this on AutoCad).

Best regards

Hello! i have something similar to what your looking for.  The tag is pretty basic the parameter above the beam is the type mark for the beam and the parameter below is the type name for the beam (the sectional dimensions) Hope this helps!

And how did you had you built it? I edited the generic Structural framming atg, and added it a label, then I selected the Section Shape Option, but it didn´t worked out... And by the way, the tag showed at the top of the beam, and not with the beam reference in the top, and not the shape of the section above the beam....

Best regards
