Floor/wall join removes wall in elevation

Good morning,

at our office we've just started using Revit for architectural purposes.

This week i ran into a problem.

I joined a compound wall to a compound floor. If i look in a section this looks okay, but you can see the floor line at the outside of the wall. In elevation view this results in a cut wall. (see attached pictures/project)

I have tried to make 2 floors already, but then i cannot join the inner walls properly to the floors.

Can somebody help me with this problem?

thank you!
