Floor Materials Keep Merging

Hi, hoping I can resolve an issue I keep having. Every time I try to create multiple floor materials, the previous floor materials will change to the newest one I've added as if they're somehow linked. The boundary lines are completely separated and so I can't seem to figure out why it's happening.

you create different materials and aplied them to the layers of the floor?
Be careful duplicating materials, you have to duplicate visualization too. If not, the visualization will change to both materials, the original and the copy.

When you duplicate a material, go to Appearance tab and duplicate or replace the Appearance asset.
