floor finishes visibility

Hi everybody,

I can't see the floor finishes (Hatching) in my floor plan view, could you help me with that. I created the floor finishes in the correct way, dividing just the layer above my floor to apply different materials. and I've selected "show parts" in part visibility but I can't see them.

I'd like to create a floor finishes layout with the different hatches on there. any recommendations?

Extend the view range a little bit .

It might be that your floor (parts) is below the view range.

In the screenshot on the left I have two floors. One normal and one divided into parts. In the view the "Parts Visibility" is set to "show parts". You see only one floor in the view.

In the screenshot on the right you see now both floors. I just changed my view range a bit. The parts behave a bit differently when "Parts Visibility" is set to "show original"

Many thanks for your help, it worked with the floors but not with the ramps, do you know why?, furthermore the hatch is curved in the ramps in 3d view.

Yes, the little quirks of Revit. Ramps do not seem to show hatches in plan view. 

What i do sometimes is instead of a ramp, make use of a floor. With the shape editing tools you can get it to almost behave like a ramp.

And if you make use of a model hatch (instead of drafting, then you can move/rotate the material/hatch (see screenshot)
