Find correct schedules

Hello, I'm new for schedule, I linked many type units to master site plan and try to create following schedules, but I can't get correct format schedules to show following data. Please help find correct steps to get them..

COMMERCIAL:
BUILDING A = 9,000 S.F.
BUILDING B = 9,000 S.F.
TOTAL     = 18,000 S.F.

UNITS:
LEVEL 1 = 100 UNITS
LEVEL 2 = 112 UNITS
LEVEL 3 = 112 UNITS
LEVEL 4 = 112 UNITS
TOTAL   = 436 UNITS

BEDROOMS:
1 BDRM   755 SF X 224 UNITS = 169,120 S.F.
2 BDRM  1,135 SF X 212 UNITS = 240,620 S.F.
TOTAL              436 UNITS = 409,740 S.F.

PARKING:
LEVEL 1   = 168 PARKING SPCS.
LEVEL 2   = 168 PARKING SPCS.
LEVEL 3   = 168 PARKING SPCS.
LEVEL 4   = 168 PARKING SPCS.
TOTAL     = 672 PARKING SPCS.

Did you want all of this information in the same schedule?

To create a schedule - right-click on Schedules in the Project Browser. Select the category to schedule. Make sure that the Include Elements in Links checkbox is checked. 

This should get you started.

I'm sorry. still confuse. For example, I want calculate total linked units in master site plan, how to create a schedule including following information? Please kindly help me.

UNITS:
LEVEL 1 =  10 UNITS TYPE A, 30 UNITS TYPE B.
LEVEL 2 =  15 UNITS TYPE A, 25 UNITS TYPE B.
LEVEL 3 =  15 UNITS TYPE A, 25 UNITS TYPE B.

TOTAL   = 120 UNITS

In order to show also the level..I think you will need a new shared-parameter in your families with the value "Level" for each situation.

Otherwise..getting the total for everything is not a challenge.

What a kind of schedule is good for count how many different residential unit types in each level? I have 4 -story apartment project with 4 typical unit. there are some units over on the  level 1 commercial building (means no unit on the level 1). I use filer for hiding level 1 units when there are lined to master site plan, but master plan schedule still count those hiding units, how can I get correct units number on level 1? (I used gross building area schedule.)

I would create Areas and an Area Plan for each level in the master file and schedule them.

I created area plan for each level typical units and then linked them to master site plan. Master site plan schedule still count unit numbers which miss level 1 plan. I don't know how schedule to count unit numbers on each level? by each level unit area plans or by  each level building models?

I meant to create Areas and Area plans in the master file, not in the linked Unit File.

Thanks!, There are almost 400 units linked to master site plan. Need to  create Areas and Area plans each unit in the master plan?  That is lots of work!

Hi

If you are using links for Unit types, then put

ROOMs in the Links, name rooms Ex: 2 BED, 3 BED

and in the main Revit file, Schedule Rooms and include Links Room data as well..

I have attached Revit file to show how to do it..

I looked files. there are three levels in main file,  why only level one count rooms (count three levels 30 rooms to level level one together in the main file room schedule?

Revit Links are not associated to any Levels ..

You will have to create your own ROOM Schedule and

use parameters to sort it..

Revit Link Name : to identify Levels probably..

Revit Link - FILE NAME : to identify 2 BED, 3 BED type
