Filter out titleblock elements when exporting to DWG

Hello,

Is there a way so that I can setup my Titleblocks so that some of their elements do not get exported to DWG whenever that happens?

I could add a visibility parameter that I would check out before but was wondering if there was a way to skip that step.

Thanks

You could have a second titleblock loaded with the elements missing....select all of the regular titleblocks and switch to the second then export.  Switch back to the original or undo afterwards.

That feels more trouble to me than just unchecking the parameter.

If that parameter is a type parameter...then yeah, it could be simple.  But if you have to go to every single sheet to make the change, then my method is a lot faster as you can click on one titleblock, select all, then change to a different titleblock in the properties window.

I have done this before if I had to send out blind drawings with a simple titleblock and no reference to the design firm.

@Anonymous, I think I see what you mean. You have multiple titleblock types in the same project, is that so? I agree, in that case your method would be simpler.

In our case, we tend to use only one or two titleblock families for the entire sheet set so it is quicker to use the type parameter.
