Filter based on shared project parameter not working

Hello,

I have three models (let's call them A, B and C where A is our architectural model) which are all linked to each other. All three of them have a couple of project parameters which were based upon the same shared parameter.txt file.

A view filter which looks for values in these custom parameters works in model B, filtering elements in A and C. Same goes for C. But that same view filter does just not work in our model A. It filters only elements in the main model A, but not those in the links.

I have tried filtering revit-native parameters such as workset and comments and these do work. I get the feeling it has something to do with these project parameters but I can't figure out what's happening.

In the screenshot you can see I set the filter to look for the existence of the parameter in structural elements; it only affects the main model, not the links (which do contain structural elements with this parameter applied).

Does anybody have a clue?

BTW we are using cloud based models in Revit 2019

Difficult to say, but alternatively couldn't you set up the filter in the files themselves and show the links in the host file to show Bylinkedview/custom setting?

Thanks for the reply. That could possibly have been a workaround.

Over the weekend I audited the central cloud model and the filters now work correctly.

Seems it was bug in the model.

I am having the same issue but auditing the model did not resolve it. Any other suggestions? This seems like a bug.

Scenario:
Behavior is only manifesting for a filter using a text type parameter.
When I copy/paste an element from the linked model, the filter color overrides work so I know the issue isn't with the filter definition.
When I use a v/g filter with a rule based on a numeric parameter, the elements from the linked model take on the graphic override as expected.
