Hello,
I have a project with my engineering school that is to create a web site dedicated to planified the use of PV pannels sensor. Indeed my school have an energy site with hundred of sensors, and different people have to use all those sensors to run test. And to facilitate the use of those sensors we have to create a website where each person can chose sensors and planify when they will use it.
For my part of the project, I have to make a 3D model of a room with all the sensors in Revit. This model will be added in the website so that the searchers could visualise each sensors and select directly on my 3D model, the sensors they need.
So my question is : Is it possible on Revit to create sensors that for example turn red when they are selected on the website and turn green when they are available ?
Thank you for the help!
(Sorry for my english, I am French)
i cant think of a way off the top of my head..... for more clarification, are you looking to Push the change from Revit or have Revit read that the sensor was tripped?
only thing I can think of is to somehow have the sensor information write to an excel spreadsheet. then in Revit, the spreadsheet can be read thru Dynamo, or other program. When read it could be set to change the family type for the sensor from red to green. Maybe???
