Filled Regions Not Printing

There has been another post on this topic but not since 2007 so I'm hoping there is a fix finally.

I have filled regions in some of my views. When plotting (doesn't make a difference whether its PDF, printer, or plotter) they simply do not show up. This is when using vector processing. 

It has been suggested that using raster processing fixes this issue, which it does... However, the quality of the drawings suffers tremdously when using raster. See the attached images. 

Since the majority of our drawings are now submitted and viewed in digital PDF format, this is a big issue. 

Has there been a fix for this?

I'm almost sure this has nothing to do with it, but are any of the problematic views set to wireframe?

No, they are set to hidden line. But don't get me started on masking regions and wireframe!

I looked into it further and filled regions do seem to print either way. However when using vector processing, if the edge of the filled region is directly on top another line, the line will be shown on top regardless of whether the filled region is sent to front or not. 

On a related note, when will Autodesk offer a "Overcoming Revit Obstacles' course?

hi. This post might be very late as i have encountered it just now. I tried some of the solutions given above but nothing happened. i investigated a little further and found out that my lineweight for my region was set to 8. I decided to change it to 1 and that did the trick. I hope this helps.

Thank you for making the suggestion to change the line weight to 1; this fixed the issue. I can't believe that a thicker line weight was the cause for solid filled region not to print while using Vector.
