Filled region floor pattern shows up through casework family

Filled regions used to show floor tile patterns in restroom enlarged plans show up through countertop families.

1) View Detail level - high

2) Hidden line view

3) In the family - the countertop is completely opaque

I did try to add a masking region in the family, but in the project lavatories inserted into the countertops are masked but the filled region is still visible. Help!

Filled region is considered a detail item and it should show above model elements. What you see is the expected behavior. Use floor with a pattern instead.
