Files imported from Inventor are transparent

Good Day,

I am working on an architectural project and most of the furniture(Benches, bars etc.) have to be designed in inventor and then imported through the BIM Exchange, Export Building Components feature.

Everything i imported always showed the right colors and materials but the latest import(Bench) displays the sides of the bench and seats as transparent and i have tried changing the materials multiple times to try and fix this.

Could anyone offer any help on how to fix this as it is becoming very frustrating and i need to show a presentation to our clients.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.Upload.PNG

Without having access to the model it is difficult to see what is going on. Are the elements transparent or are it just edges?

It could be that the pattern is too 'fine' resulting in that it is difficult for Revit to determine what has to be extruded.

You could try to return to Inventor and simplify it.

If it is really transparent, try to load it in a clean project and have a look at the material settings

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
