Not sure if this is another print/display issue over PCOIP....but

We are unable to make a transparent fill region/hatch. This worked fine in 2015.

In our properties-

 Background is set to transparent.

We also use the draworder to set this to the back.

The view is set to wireframe.

We've also tried setting the transparency for detail item to 25-50%. Still shows up solid.

Regards,

Van

Hi @vanboon_cei

Can you try printing it with the print setting set to Raster instead of Vector?

Thanks

We tried both of these as it was one of the possible solution in another post. Still no luck. It might be because we're running it over a VM/PCOIP. Still investigating.

Hi, vanboon_cei,

I'm Judy, a Revit specialist. I see you're having problems with solid fills and transparencies while working over PCOIP. Are you seeing this issue when working on the computer locally? If so, I'd like to see a journal from that Revit session to investigate further.

However, if you can't reproduce the problem when you're not using PCOIP, that would indicate the issue is the the Remote Desktop connection, not with the Revit software. Please see this page for more information from Microsoft about display issues when using Remote Desktop. While the article specifically addresses text issues, it also mentions that if additional issues are seen, you may need to create a support request.

Please let me know if this helps. If the problem occurs when NOT working over a remote connection, please send a journal file from a Revit session in which you open a file and recreate the problem. Journal files can be found at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Revit.

Thanks, and let me know what you find.

Best regards,

Judy Staicer
