File size too large in revit 2015

hi

i was working on my project and it was about 83 MB after i did some void in my forme its became to large about 257 MB o.O

 

this picture showing the voids and i made it as a component then i made a void extrude .. the file is too heavy to work on

 

 

can i make the voids by another way? or how can i decrese the size??

İt seems as it has too much detail in geometry. try to purge unused command to get rid of unused families but it will not provide too much reduction in file size.

What are you attempting to model? Is it all model in place?
1. Try building it out of a family and not an in place model.
2. Do you have to model ever line? or can you use model lines to generate the same effect visually?
3. If you are using a worshared model you can isolate the trellis (what I assume that is) on separate worksets that you can close, work with the rest of the model, and then only open them when necessary for printing.

I too agree with cpalm, please try to use model lines to get the effect that you are trying to achieve. Also, one thing you could try is to apply a texture which would give you the effect. You could easily find a matching texture online.
