In revit 2013

How do I control the Control File Save Options Settings globally.  For example I want all files to save only one back-up file.

yes ,

open the template file and make the setiings for number of backups in Save as....

If you use a Revit Template it is possible that the template file to be write protected , so make your own copy of the file...

When making a new file , use this template...

Hi

If repeated, it is hard to save the project Or you might forget.

I would recommend this to change in the template to apply to become permanent.

The following procedure:

1-Open the default template.

default template-1.jpg

2- Click Application > Save As > Template.

default template-2.jpg

3-Now, Specify Save In Custome Template and Specify  File Name For Template And then Click Options and Set Maximum backups to 1.

4-Now,Close your file and Go to Application > Options > File Locations > Project Template and Add Custome Template then click the Ok.

5- After this, The page recently Click on the template and the project start
