Feature Request - Integrated Natural Light & Ventilation Calculator in Revit

I am advocating for the integration of a feature in Revit akin to the "Room Natural Light & Ventilation Calculator" plugin by Archithetics. Presently, Revit does not offer an automated method to calculate and compare the required versus provided natural light and ventilation through doors and windows in rooms within the same schedule.

Its absence in Revit necessitates cumbersome workarounds like using Excel to calculate the total area of windows and doors for lighting and ventilation for each room. This method introduces issues with project compatibility, as changes in the project do not automatically update in these external spreadsheets.

Incorporating this feature directly into Revit would significantly improve efficiency and accuracy, eliminating the need for these external calculations and ensuring real-time updates with project changes.

You have the room area. What else do you need in order to calculate required natural ventilation and required natural light source area ?

I agree in that it is not difficult to add some formulas to a schedule of rooms, based on the area of each room. However, it would be good to have sin the same schedules the area of glass openings per room, to make the calculations easier.
