Family - Visibility Parameters per Floor

I have created a family and this family is visible in two different plans, ground floor and first floor.

I want one handrail of this family to be visible only in ground floor 

The problem is, if I make it not visible in one view if is not visible in all.

Any ideas?

If the family is visible in 2 floors, you need to create subcategories in the family, one for upper floor, one for lower floor. That will alow you to turn on and off elements in the corresponding view. It works the same in elevator families.
