Family Visibility Issues

Created a family, made each element visible on everything but the plan view. Loaded into project, placed component on wall, looked good in 3D.

Issue, the family is visible in 3D and the left and right elevations, however, not the front elevation!

Have checked the below:

1. visibility graphics, even though i have a view template applied to all elevations
2. Light bulb for hidden items
3. made elevation wire frame, family not visible
4. changed detail level, again view template and shown on side elevations
5. checked for temporary hide
6. checked clip range of elevation

at a loss any ideas?

Possibly you have some subcategory/categories unchecked in front elevation... Bit of a guessing game without the file, perhaps you could zip&share it.

It's modeled as furniture category apparently. Did you check front elevation Visibility Graphics/model category overrides (in or outside of template/does the front elevation have the same template applied?) and see if furniture category is checked to show?

When I open your family, it appears that it's built the wrong way round.  Visibilty is set to not show in plans, which is actually an elevation in your model.  Swith visibilty on for plan views and it appears in the view.

Yep, checked all those, everything on hence other elevations show it.
