Family to Project conversion

Hi,

SO I've loaded this family completely locked with reference planes etc into my project, though the flexible lines appear on the project they do not function like they're supposed to. extend the family etc.

Worth mentioning: the family has smaller component families nested within it which are again locked in place.

DO advise on what could be going wrong.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

the arrows in black function properly inspite of the same reference plane treatment.the arrows in black function properly inspite of the same reference plane treatment.

there are three families nested into one here. t is a shared parameter. b needs to be constant. the only two lengths that need flexibility are the glass units on both sides and the thickness in between them.there are three families nested into one here. t is a shared parameter. b needs to be constant. the only two lengths that need flexibility are the glass units on both sides and the thickness in between them.
