Family Shows beyond View Range

I have put a traffic light on site and only want to show light post instead of the whole thing in site plan. The traffic light is 18ft high, much higher than the view range, however the whole light is visible. I have attached the family here.

Actually, why don't you just change the Visibility Settings of those elements that you don't want shown in Plan View?
