Family rotation errors

I have created a family with many parameters and sweeps. Now I want to slightly rotate the family in the project file. Once I try to rotate the family I get an error message. "The References of the highlighted Dimension are no longer parallel." and "The planes of one or more references are not exactly orthogonal to this view. The dimension to these reference cannot be created." Do I need to add a parameter to the family to rotate? and if I do, how do I do that with all reference planes already created?

Thank you.

That kind of error message does not have anything to do with problems in the family. What it means is that one or more dimensions that you had between that object and another object, cannot exist anymore, because the two references that you used to create the dimension are no longer parallel. Suppose that you have two desks separated by 1 meter, and that you have a dimension between the two desks. If you rotate one desk, even by just 1 degree, the dimension will be invalid.
