Just downloaded a Zurn exterior faucet from BIMOBJECT. When I open the family itself, it shows fine in 3D, but as soon as I insert, it only shows as the 2D symbol - I have no idea why!
Family issue - only shows as 2D symbol in 3D
Edit the family and check if the 3D elements are set to not showing in Plan/RCP, or any particular detail levels. They usually made invisible in Plan/RCP because of the unnecessary 3d geometry graphic.
Thx Toan - I had found that option, but I don't want to turn this on for plan/rcp, I just want the 3D model to display in 3D and it is not.
It shows as the 2D symbol in a 3D view.
