Family Dimensions in Error

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to create a family.But when i change Values Errors show up.

I can see the ID but i can't press "Show"button.

So i still don't know where has error.

In this case what should i do?Usually how to fix the model when Error show up?

You may build your Family by following a routine that allows you to detect any early issues. I assume you know that trying to flex the reference planes before adding geometry is a must to check everything work as expected. But not the only one.

Adding dimensions to reference planes instead to geometry, nesting irrefutable components, keeping clear and tidy the family, even choosing the proper family template for the work you are trying to do. Everything is related with undesired warnings.

Not an expert here but your screenshot seems the warning is related with a wrong value for a frequently used Label, or maybe some damaged nested components.

Actually I don't know any rules about creat family😂I just watch video and try little by litte.

Can you teach me what things I need to careful before I start to creat family?

Before you start to make a family you should Plan the way you will attempt it, according the type of the component, the way the family should perform in the project, the methods involved to create the geometry or the disciplines related.

Once you sketch up this info you better search Google for the basic family creation rules  (and check the Revit user manual), as I mentioned in my previous message. 

Later you may find interesting to mail me your family for a review.
