Families/Libraries for Revit LT 2017

I recently loaded Revit LT 2017, and I cannot see the families or libraries to load into a project.

For instance under doors, I see a strange list of folders under the "Revit LT 2017" folder.

Any help is appreciated...

Navigate to the folder c:\programDATA\Autodesk\RVT (UR REVIT VERSION) and make sure that the libraries got installed in that folder.

  1. if you find them there ex: under folder Libraries\US Metric; then copy the link of that folder and past it in the designated section of the Options dialog (application menu)
  2. if you do not find the Libraries folder in the above directory, then most probably they did not get installed on your local disk. In such case you need to either install them (urself) or contact you BIM manager/Network Admin to do that for you.

PS...

- the ProgramDATA folder is a hidden folder on the C: drive

- there are 10s of threads on this form explaining how to manually reinstall the LT libraries (use the search this board option on the REVIT Architecture forum)
