Face-based opening unwillingly rotated

I attach a sample model of two beams (one Structural Framing family, two different types). There's an opening of 300 mm height and 500 mm width in each beam, but one of them (beams) is somehow broken, so the opening is rotated by 90 degrees (so that height becomes width and vice versa). Any new opening of the same family inserted into the broken beam is rotated as well. A copy of the broken beam is also broken. A newly modelled beam of the same type as the broken one is not broken. Any ideas?

I don't see an issue here.  Did you press the spacebar to rotate the opening on placement?

Aha! Didn't know the spacebar thing, thanks. Still pretty weird that I have to use it for this single beam, i.e. that the default orientation is rotated.
