hello,

Is it possible to extend a Wall Wraps at Inserts beyond the wall's centerline?

Even using the Wall Closure method seems not to be working.

Asking for a friend 😄

Thanks

Yes. Don't use "By Host". Use Family's Wall Closure Plane.  Works like a charm.

To clarify...

In the Family, pick Ref. Plane in Plan View and check the "Wall Closure".  Then in Family Types dialog box set "Wall Closure" Parameter to side(s) you want to wrap (e.g. "Exterior").

For this example, I placed the 'Wall Closure" Ref. Plane in Family @ Interior Face of Host Wall. Here's the Wrap condition in Project Plan View:

I was trying the Wall Closure plane. But missing the step of switching from "By Host" to "Exterior".

As you said, works like a charm.

Thank you

Hello!

Why do I get wrap only at one side of the door?

In door family, I marked both reference lines as wall closure.

Thank you in advance!

Because you don't have any finish layer on the Interior side.  Core layers cannot wrap as you can see the box is greyed out.

Here is screenshot with added finish layer.

I still don't have the wrap on the right side of the door.

have the same problem. doesn't make sense that it only wrapps on the right side and not on the left. Both ref planes are checked as closure
