Exporting multiple elevations to single DWG file

I have set up approximately 60+ interior elevations in Revit that I now need to export into Autocad (my firm has just started using Revit so still crossing between programs a bit).  Is there anyway to export them as a group, either all together, or room to room, as one dwg file? Ex. 6 different interior elevations for the kitchen as one dwg file rather than having to export each elevation as its own file?

Create a sheet (no titleblock needed) and place all  of your elevations on it, then export the Sheet.

p/s: if your elevations are already placed on other sheets then you need to duplicate them, either as dependent, or with details.  Then place the copies on the exporting sheet.

Hi @Anonymous

I see that you are visiting as a new member! Welcome to the Autodesk community!Smiley Happy

Please follow the steps below to export one or more views and sheets to DWG or DXF format.

  • Click ExportCAD Formats (DWG) or (DXF).
  • In the DWG (or DXF) Export dialog, for Select Export Setup, select the desired setup.

To modify the selected setup or to create a new one, click (Modify Export Setup). See Modify DWG/DXF Export Setup.

  • Select the elevation views and sheets to export.
If you want to export multiple views and sheets, then for Export, select <In session view/sheet set>, and then select the views and sheets to export.
  • If you are ready to export, click Next. To save the current export settings and close the dialog without exporting, click Save Set & Close.

Let us know how your export process went through. Happy to help if you have additional questions!

This works for me, except that the Elevation and Section view tags also multiply depending on the number of new dependent views.  How can I filter out those view tags so my plan views only show the tags for the original/parent views?
