Exporting IFC file from IDA ICE to Revit LT

Hi.

Iam a master student at OsloMet university. And doing my master thises.

In my master thises i need to export a Revit model to IDA ICA. Do rom simulations in IDA ICE and get back (export IFC file from IDA ICE) to Revit with the simulation data.
My problem is that i cant open exported IFC file from IDA ICE in Revit.

I have tryed to use Magicad, but that dosent work as well.

Any recomendations?

Hi @Anonymous 

Check IFC file in Solibri or in BIM Vision.

If You do not see it there it must be something wrong with Your IFC.

Otherwise please post You IFC.

Hey, first of all thank you for the reply. I have just used BIMVision to check the IFC file from IDA ICE and i get error, just like i did with Revit.

So the IFC file exported from Revit works in IDA ICE, but when i simulate in IDA ICE and export the IFC from IDA ICE, thats when IFC file giets corrupted. so i suspect that IDA ICE dont export as it should, or its something wrong with my settings in ICE.

I couldnt upload IFC file in here cuz it isnt supported but i uploaded the LOG txt file with errors, could you please take a look. all help is welcomed with open arms.

So please report the issue to IDA ICE vendor.
