Exporting a revit file(that has a navisworks coordination model) into Navisworks

Hello,

I have a Revit file :

The client has sent me a Navisworks file (the machine and process of the building). I've put it into Revit :

However when I export everything into Navisworks I get this :

Is there a way to have the navisworks file that is in the revit to be inside the exported navisworks file ? This can't be intended, how are we suppose to coordinate and check clashes ?

Thank you for your answers.

Hey wtf there is no solution to my problem yet a message has been accepted as a solution here. What ? Is Autodesk forums as corrupted and rigged as the american government ?

Wow!

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Hopefully you can send the info to the Navisworks team and make this a top priority.

I don't think the government will allow this.

Hi @jsanders @Anonymous

Thank you, and wishing you a fantastic New Year too!

Sorry to keep you hanging! I don't engage in the forums as much as before, but I'll be glad to push this issue forward. I have posted this thread on one of our internal channels and I hope a specialist will continue to communicate with you.

Also, the best way to address this issue is through a support case

One of our dedicated Navisworks experts will assist you better.

Best Regards,

Hi guys! I got a similar problem. I placed a nwd into my revit file and when I try to export a section as a CAD file, the coordination model is not visible.

Has this issue ever been resolved?  I'm having the same issue where it is easier for me to line up multiple NWC's in Revit and I want to export them to a new NWC.
