Export Revit Model,only .RTE

I don't know why Isn't available the option of Export in RVT, just.RTE. Any Reason?

Hi @mzmaso90,

There is no way to export o convert a Revit family (.rte) to a Revit project (.rvt). If you know it, most surely you are trying to export a file created (by mistake?) from a family template or directly open a family file.

Take a look on the upper center ofr the screen, at the left of Revit version, there it should say the name and extension of the open file.

If the file was saved as a Template (often by mistake) you only need to create a new project and use that file as its template. Save it the proper way (as a project), then delete the RTE for good measure.

If it happens as @pedruccioli said, very important to select "Project" instead of "Project template" when creating from this file/template, so you will loop on the same mistake

You cannot save an RTE to RVT.
