Exploding problem

I am using Revit 2022.1, The issue is I have a family that was imported from CAD, it has both 3D and 2D. When I would like to edit it. The Revit (family page) treat the imported family as a whole unit, when explode it either fully or partially everything disappeared. Even though I have tried void but work, as will as "Query" enabled me to delete only not edit. So any advice on how to edit it?

I found the only way to deal with this situation is working directly on the CAD file with an appropriate application. If your family file is all you have and no way of accessing the original import file, I recommend to make a new CAD file by exporting it from revit. Edit it outside revit and re-import it.
