Exit viewer mode without leaving unsaved project

I had downloaded Revit 2025 as a student with my report card approved as evidence. This lead me to start a project unknowingly in viewer mode. I've left my project open as I cannot save it otherwise, and my teacher directed me to the proper Revit license the day after in which I should not be in viewer mode. I still have my project open in viewer mode and I want to save it, how may I do this?

Try save as instead saving in the same file. If that doesn't work, you can open a new file in the same window (the project tabs should show side by side), physically select all the elements and copy-paste it into the new file. Use the paste-selected to the current view command in the modify tab.
