We use plugin by Ideate called Ideate Sticky to link Excel document inside revit. It works really well.

Can set as auto-update (will update the table everytime you open the file) making it easy to manage/update hundreds of excel link inside revit, and Its an actual text (not still image capture), so you can print in high resolution without any problem.
