Ex. Door Swing Angle

How to show an existing 90 degree door swing as 45 degree swing on Demolition Plan in Revit 2021?

You want the same Door to display differently depending on the View Filter applied to the view?

I want the demolished/existing doors to appear as 45 degrees rather than 90 degrees.

some doors have parameters to control the Swing Angle. if that is an instance parameter, you can adjust the door swing for each door as needed. Do you need to show New doors as 90 then?

Our convention is showing existing doors (remain or demolished) with 45 swing, new doors with 90 swing. Existing is half toned and demolished is dashed and full toned. Is that NOT what you want?

That is exactly what I want, although all of my doors are 90. Is there a way to show exist’g/demo. Doors at 45 degrees?

If you are saying that you want one door type to be able to display different swings depending on whether or not it is demo'd or a keeper, then I would suggest making Door Types in the Family.  One Type shows the 45 swing, and one Type shows the 90 swing.  The Swings would be controlled via a Visibility Parameter.  Types would have one or the other Visible.

How do I make the various swings angles? Is it within the software and if so, where is it located?

Check out this family.  See the "45-degree Symbolic Opening" and "90-degree Symbolic Opening" Parameters grouped under "Graphics".   It should be self-explanatory. If not, let us know.

I do not see the option to change the swing under the “Graphics” tab, so do I have to load it, or is it somewhere else? If I have to load it, where will I find it?

Open the Nested Door Swing in Plan View Family in the Door Family I posted. The Door Swing in Plan View Family is Parametric.  See its Open 45-Degrees and Open 90 Degrees Yes/No Parameters.

See attached family.  When Existing box is checked the door shows 45 swing.  When Existing is not checked, the door show the default 90 swing, but can be changed to any given angle from 0 to 180.
