eTransmit from ACC projects

I remember doing this before by simply navigating to the central file on ACC through Desktop Connector and it worked, but recently the transmit fails. Does anyone have any input here? Whether they done it before or whether or not it can't be done now. 

I know we can share files from ACC, but transmit allows removing/purging more elements.

Obvious thing to check, is your desktop connector updated?

Also, when you say "navigating to the central file on ACC through Desktop Connector ", do you mean going through windows explorer and double clicking to open a Revit central file? If so, that is problematic and should not be done that way, as it will create the temp and backup files in your ACC environment. You should be opening the model through the Revit Docs dialogues if its a cloud workshare model. If its not a workshare model, you should download the model, or copy the model from that ACC docs location on your computer (desktop?) and then trying to do the etransmit inside of Revit in the add-ins tab.

When i select the transmit a file tool, i search for a model, and i navigate to the central file on ACC Docs through the Desktop Connector while in the transmit tool. I hope this image helps.

• Desktop connector is updated.
• I have full account admin permissions for ACC.
• I have tried it with a publihsed central file, a package (in the shared folder) and a consumed file.
• I know it worked before, as I have done it many times. But recently models will not transmit. Maybe it is a new ACC issue.

Interesting, I have not done it that way before but it sort of makes sense. I think it has to do with the way the transmit model button works in revit, I do not think it was designed for cloud work share model on the ACC. I think you should bring this up to Autodesk through a support ticket because it may be an ACC issue. In the meantime, what you can do is open the model, then do a save as and save it locally. I believe that if you browse to this local location it may work now. 
I vaguely remember trying this a while ago, and if it failed I would have tried what I mentioned, saving it locally and trying again.

Yes, I was aware of the sSave As process and create the transmittal from that, but althought its not a huge extra step, it is something I wanted to avoid. Anyway, glad the picture helped, and I will delve deeper into it and contact Autodesk if I have to.

Autodesk's formal response to using eTransmit and ACC projects is to download per this article. It appears that your prior technique may have been blocked as it isn't a supported/intended method.

Revit cloud worksharing models or Desktop Connector models are not supported. eTransmit add-in can only be used in local projects

Yes.  Either send the link from ACC or download and send the source file as a package.  The issue is that you cannot choose which views or sheets to be or not to be included.  However, you can download the source file, unzip, and use eTrnasmit from it.
