Error while creating a central file

I had an old central file which was a lot messy so I decided to create a new one with more cleaner and audited elements. After purging, removing all unnecessary CAD links I tried to make a new central file. Now after trying almost tenth time the problem still persist where I follow the general process of making a central file, the computer starts the process and gets stuck at 51% every time. Tried on a different computer and the problem is the same. The file does not contain any external link and no 3D elements. Please help as I have no other option to try.

Is the file 2015 - earlier? I had this happen with a file in the past. Can you send me your journal file? Last time it did this to me, it got hung up on a door family. Did you try ungrouping all of your model groups (If any)?

The file is made in Revit 2017. The file contains only detail elements and 2d lines and regions. There is a number of groups in the file but none 3D. But wont ungrouping all of them make the file a mess. Anyways I will give it a try.

Do you check the AUDIT before opening the file, before making the file as central file. Thanks
