Error: Roof By Extrusion

This looks like a basic shape, any clues to why I am getting an error here? I've tried different roof thicknesses and rafter cuts., no luck.

I get the same error if I sketch your shape in two halves. In other words, mirror 3 lines on the left to make a right for a total of 6 lines.  

No problem if I make the middle line segment one line for a total of 5 segments.

It looks pretty straight forward. So, you might try to use the roof by mass face tool.

This is correct. By using the mirror tool I was creating 2 straight lines on the same plane. Using 1 line for the top portion works:
