Error accessing Models from BIM 360 using BIM Interoperability Model Checker

Hi Team,

Revit Version : 2019.2.1

BIM Interoperability Version : 7.2.7391.0

I am using BIM Interoperability - Model Checker tool for extracting checkset data. It is working fine with the current model. But when I try to add model from BIM 360, I get the following error (see attached snapshot). The model that I am trying to access is "Cached" successfully. It might be something very simple that I am missing here! The error message seems to be using API Terminologies so I tagged Revit API.

Any help is much appreciated!

@Anonymoustagging you here so to know if you have come across this issue.

What happens when you first download the model to your computer from BIM 360?

What happens when you use the desktop connector?

Verified that download went Ok?

As the error message is very generic, you also might want to create a support ticket in your autodesk account. Maybe Autodesk can trace the issue

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Hi

Thank you for the response! The Revit model is working fine when I open from BIM 360 (Cloud, Open from Revit) as well as (Double click) Desktop Connector. I am getting this specific error when trying to open using the tool "BIM Interoperability Tool" - Model Checker. When I say Open, I am using the "Add Model" Feature while running this tool. See screenshot for understanding.

To answer your questions,

What happens when you first download the model to your computer from BIM 360? - This is not with a specific Model but is a general issue that I found with other users as well. And, I am able to download the model just fine. But we wouldn't want the users to always download while running the model Checker as it kills the purpose of running it in live models.

What happens when you use the desktop connector? As mentioned earlier, Model is functioning fine using Desktop Connector. But the error I received was when I used Desktop connector.

Verified that download went Ok? Yes the download went okay

I hope I answered your questions and I hope this provides guidance to my actual issue
