Error 6

I have a basic interior Wall with 3 5/8 metal studs, 5/8” GWB on each side, and tiles on one side.  When I try to duplicate it and rename to add tiles on the other side, it cannot be saved since the following dialog box comes out:  “Error 6: Layer function Priorities cannot ascend from the Core Boundary in the Finish Face”.

Can you advise what it this?

Mine is similar before adding the tile on the other side, except that we are using 3 5/8 inches studs.  When I duplicate it to add the tiles on the other side, and make it a new layer 7 at the bottom of the column, is when I get the Error 6 dialog and would not let me go on and save the new duplicated wall.

I assume that there has to be a setting somewhere that is associated with this error that needs to be set.

Does your wall by chance have a Split Region in it?   If so, remove it by Merging Layers in Section Preview of the Edit Assembly dialog box.
