Equal spacing except on end formula

Does anyone know how to make a formula for equal spacing except on the end in a family?

An example: A fence family. I want the posts to be 10' on center, with the odd leftover on one end. I can get the formulas for number of posts from the length/10 +1. But then I just have the last random post past the end if the length is not an even 10 feet. How do I keep that spacing yet have the last post always land at the end?

I think I answered my own question. I just made the number of posts = length/spacing where the spacing is my set distance. Then just added another post aligned to the end of the total length.

Yes it can be done as you described, but it would be more flexible using Curtain Wall or Railing.
